Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and experienced in inventory management? We're hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for our Orlando, Florida facility! This vital role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is crucial for our logistics operations. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting audits, and implementing procedures to minimize discrepancies. If you have a knack for organization and a strong understanding of warehouse systems, we want you.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Oversee the receiving and put-away process to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
  • Assist with training team members on inventory procedures.
  • Perform tasks requiring occasional lifting and moving of items up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and other inventory management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to perform light lifting when necessary.
