Join our bustling logistics facility in San Francisco, California, as an Order Picker. This role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for accurately locating, picking, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your precision and efficiency directly impact our customer satisfaction. You'll work with a dedicated team, utilizing scanning technology and order sheets to fulfill orders promptly. Emphasis on proper handling and lifting techniques is part of our safety training.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on customer orders or pick lists.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to track inventory and fulfill orders.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Assist in packing and staging orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Conduct inventory counts and checks as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Perform duties that involve repetitive lifting and movement.
- Report any damaged goods or operational issues to supervision.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Ability to read and interpret order forms. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform frequent lifting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment. Understanding of logistics processes is beneficial. Commitment to following safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, is essential.
