Are you an experienced Order Picker looking for an exciting opportunity in Columbus, Ohio? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our efficient warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing items for shipment, playing a critical role in our logistics pipeline. Your precision and speed will ensure that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. This role demands attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Stage orders in the appropriate shipping lanes.
- Operate order picking equipment, such as electric pallet jacks and RF scanners.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established picking and packing productivity goals.
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is required. Must be able to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. A strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices is essential. Excellent accuracy and efficiency are paramount. Experience with voice-picking technology or other warehouse management systems is a plus. This role is integral to our logistics success.
