Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and meticulously entering received items into our inventory management system. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting our overall logistics operations. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless flow of goods. A strong commitment to accuracy and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. Safety is our top priority, and all employees must strictly adhere to safety guidelines and wear the required PPE at all times. This role may involve lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming freight efficiently and safely.
- Inspect all incoming goods for quantity accuracy and potential damages.
- Reconcile received items with purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately record received inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Stage incoming materials for proper put-away.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Perform tasks that may require lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to maintaining an organized and safe receiving dock.
