We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently gathering items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical for ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will use scanning equipment to locate products, verify quantities, and prepare items for the packing and shipping stages. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and possesses a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanner.
- Verify picked items and quantities against order requirements.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to efficient logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists or use scanning technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
