Join our vibrant warehouse team as a Picker/Packer in Miami, Florida! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their correct items in a timely manner. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, scanning products, and efficiently packing them for safe transit. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment setting is a plus. Safety is paramount in our warehouse, and all employees are required to follow strict safety protocols, including the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will be expected to handle frequent Lifting of boxes and items of varying weights. Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order sheets or scanner.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Handle occasional Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to efficient logistics flow.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets or use scanning devices.
- Basic math skills for verification.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
