We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to manage stock accuracy in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility. This role is crucial for maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution processes. You will be responsible for conducting physical inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory records. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Track the movement of inventory within the facility.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Assist in organizing stock and ensuring proper storage methods.
- Generate inventory reports for management.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and the use of PPE.
