We are seeking an efficient Order Picker to join our energetic team in San Diego, California. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail ensures that we send the right items, in the right quantities, to our valued customers. This position is a cornerstone of our warehouse logistics, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locate products on shelves and in various warehouse storage areas.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy and prevent errors.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage completed orders in the designated shipping or staging areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and other material handling devices safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or stock shortages to supervisors.
- Adhere to all company Safety rules and regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks and contribute to the overall logistics operation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to Safety and following established procedures.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
