Our growing company is seeking a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this essential role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders from start to finish. This includes picking products, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment, playing a crucial part in our overall logistics network. We are committed to providing a safe and secure work environment for all our employees, mandating the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety regulations. This position requires consistent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting, making it suitable for individuals who are active and enjoy hands-on work. You'll work with state-of-the-art systems and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced fulfillment center. We value attention to detail, efficiency, and a collaborative spirit. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory according to customer orders.
- Inspect picked items for quality and correct quantity.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Stage prepared orders for carrier pickup.
- Receive and stock incoming inventory in designated locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Contribute to meeting daily fulfillment targets and team goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to learn and operate warehouse equipment.
- Understanding of safe work practices and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality.
