Job Summary:
Our operations in Durham, North Carolina, are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting regular inventory counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory management system is up-to-date. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory counts of warehouse stock.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming inventory.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse storage areas for optimal efficiency.
  • Generate inventory reports for management.
  • Assist with stock replenishment and put-away processes.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address inventory-related issues.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and report accordingly.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse/inventory management role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to perform tasks that may involve occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
