We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our busy logistics hub in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, and unloading materials within the warehouse. This role requires a skilled individual with excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety regulations. You will operate various types of forklifts to transport goods, manage inventory, and support the overall flow of our distribution operations. Maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues is paramount, and strict adherence to safety procedures and the use of appropriate PPE is mandatory. This is a critical role in our logistics network, ensuring that products are handled correctly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport goods to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any issues.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated locations, ensuring stability and safety.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations related to forklift operation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification/license.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
- Reliable and safety-conscious attitude.
