Are you a proven leader with experience in warehouse management? We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve operational goals. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving, and implementing best practices in logistics. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment, and adherence to all safety regulations and the correct use of PPE is expected. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance evaluation.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate all shipping and receiving activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
- Implement and maintain efficient logistics processes.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
