We are looking for an efficient and accurate Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Tampa, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders accurately and quickly. This role is a cornerstone of our **Logistics** operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will use scanning equipment and pick lists to locate and gather items, ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected. A strong commitment to accuracy and **Safety** is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product identity and quantity to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Adhere to all company policies and **Safety** procedures.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals.
- Wear all required PPE throughout the shift.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Must be able to handle Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse **Logistics**.
- Commitment to workplace **Safety**.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules.
