Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Columbus, Ohio facility. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and implementing inventory control procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics best practices. Safety is paramount in our operations, and you will be expected to enforce all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, and promote safe Lifting techniques among the warehouse team. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss and damage.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving items, and report on inventory aging.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Uphold strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and safe Lifting practices.
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimize inventory flow.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of safe Lifting practices and warehouse safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with logistics principles.
