Job Summary:
Join our thriving fulfillment center in Washington, D.C. as a Fulfillment Associate. This role is fundamental to our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. You will work within a dynamic team environment, contributing to the efficient and accurate processing of orders. Your dedication to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety will be highly valued. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the logistics industry and develop a wide range of warehouse skills. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, adaptable, and possess a proactive approach to problem-solving. Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment setting is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming inventory, including receiving and stocking goods.
  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and order pickers, safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Conduct quality control checks on products and outgoing shipments.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet operational goals.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the warehouse.
  • Ensure all logistics processes are followed according to standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a strong understanding of fulfillment center operations. Ability to perform tasks requiring physical dexterity and manual labor is necessary. Must be comfortable with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial. A commitment to maintaining a safe workspace and adhering to safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is paramount. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods. High school diploma or equivalent is required. This role is integral to our logistics network and requires a dedicated individual.
