Are you a natural leader with a passion for optimizing warehouse operations? We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, coordinating workflows, and implementing best practices in logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse supervision, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to team development and safety. Key duties and responsibilities: Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management; Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure smooth workflow; Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE); Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, implementing control measures as needed; Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and meet production goals; Manage the efficient use of warehouse space and equipment; Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions; Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs; Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. This position requires the ability to handle significant responsibility, manage diverse teams, and possess excellent communication and decision-making skills. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics principles is essential. The role may involve occasional heavy lifting and requires overall physical fitness.
