We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our **Logistics** team in Portland, Oregon. This role is vital for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and packing them with care to ensure they arrive safely. A strong commitment to **Safety**, including adherence to all protocols and the correct use of **PPE**, is paramount. The ideal candidate will be efficient, organized, and possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in our supply chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction. This position involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, and **Lifting**. We value reliability and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before packing.
- Prepare packages for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with **Lifting** and moving inventory as needed.
- Adhere to all **Safety** procedures and company policies.
- Wear appropriate **PPE** at all times.
- Contribute to meeting daily productivity goals.
- Support overall **Logistics** operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to perform **Lifting** duties, up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse **Safety** practices and **PPE**.
- Understanding of **Logistics** principles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
