We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced logistics center in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that all goods are handled efficiently and correctly. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and preparation for shipment. This position demands a high level of physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently unload and process incoming shipments.
- Verify inventory accuracy against purchase orders.
- Sort, label, and store inventory in appropriate locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely (certification may be required or provided).
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
