Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and store goods appropriately.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on customer requirements.
- Prepare items for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified and trained).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through careful handling and tracking of goods.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Follow all logistics procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any issues or concerns to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, with a requirement for frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading comprehension.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse machinery.
- Commitment to a strong safety culture.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Understanding of general logistics principles is beneficial.
