You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and working closely with warehouse staff to identify and resolve stock issues. A strong understanding of inventory management systems, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory control procedures.
- Track and manage stock levels, ensuring optimal quantities.
- Utilize inventory management software to record stock movements.
- Work with warehouse associates to ensure accurate receiving and shipping processes.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend actions.
- Generate inventory reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper handling of materials.
- Promote and enforce safe lifting practices throughout the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and supply chain principles.
- Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
