Join our team as a Forklift Operator in the bustling city of Chicago, Illinois. We are looking for experienced and certified Forklift Operators to manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. This role is central to our logistics chain, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from receiving to shipping. Responsibilities include operating forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks, move pallets of goods, and transport materials to designated areas. You will be responsible for daily inspection of forklift equipment, reporting any mechanical issues promptly. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a clean and organized work area, free from hazards. Your commitment to safety protocols and adherence to all operational procedures will be critical. This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will possess a valid forklift certification and have a proven track record of safe operation. Proper use of PPE , including safety vests and hard hats, is mandatory. The job requires regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and the ability to work flexible shifts.
