Are you an experienced Reach Truck Operator looking for a new opportunity in Columbus, Ohio? Our rapidly expanding logistics company is seeking skilled individuals to operate reach trucks efficiently and safely within our expansive warehouse. You will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory. The ability to navigate narrow aisles and high-reaching racks with precision is essential. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in operating other warehouse equipment is beneficial. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to ensure efficient flow of goods and maintain order accuracy. Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. This position requires stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including significant lifting and prolonged standing. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks on reach trucks and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Successful candidates will possess excellent spatial awareness and a strong work ethic. Experience in a high-volume logistics setting is highly desirable.
