Salary range (but not limited to):
109, ,300Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We're looking for a Manager, Personal lines, to join our Personal Lines team in Vancouver, BC.
This role is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of 3 days per week working in the office.
What you'll do here:
- Develop methods to inspire and build a highly effective and engaged team capable of meeting the current and future needs through effective leadership.
- Develop, recommend, and implement leadership strategies, organizational structure, and processes/technology improvement initiatives.
- Organize, lead and assist in the delivery of corporate audits of each of the regions within the regional division.
- Provide effective leadership by continuously keeping staff informed on initiatives and results and share responsibility for the overall performance, productivity, and engagement of team members.
- Develop and manage effective working relationships with the Regional Managers and underwriters, as well as your counterparts across the country and across distribution channels.
- Act as an ambassador for Corporate Personal Insurance liaising with Operations and Planning, Operational Performance, Sales and Business Development and Claims Management on planning, technical and administrative issues.
- Play a key and active role in the selection process and hiring of qualified staff.
- Lead by example and live our values every day.

What you bring to the table:
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant leadership and management experience.
- Strong knowledge of personal lines products and systems.
- Leadership ability to influence and motivate people and facilitate change.
- Can set clear objectives and monitor the progress of multiple initiatives and deadlines.
- Must be able to monitor competitive practices, industry trends, or other developments impacting business results and make recommendations regarding corporate practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to foster and maintain effective professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
- People and/or Project Management experience with strong skills in collaboration, coaching and mentoring, and proven success in team building and managing relationships with a remote team.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with insight into different perspectives and approaches.
- Can master multiple priorities under time constraints with a sense of urgency.
- CIP or FCIP preferred.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
