Job Summary
We are seeking a Inspector Inventory Coordinator. This role involves Role involves assuring compliance of products manufactured by Hensley and received from outsource vendors as it pertains to weld quality, drawing and customer requirements. As well as leading, training, and assisting in the day-to-day warehouse operations, including tasks like inventory management, order processing, shipping, receiving, and auditing. The goal is to increase accuracy, efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform inspections of products to ensure conformance to Hensley Attachments Welding Specification: ES003, Engineering Drawings, Hensley Welding Guide and Sales Order requirements.
- Document inspection results on Travelers, Weld Quality Check Sheets (WQCS) and Excel spreadsheet reports. Maintain files and records of the WQCS and reports.
- Issue Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMR) on material not meeting Hensley's Inspection requirements.
- Verifying, counting, sorting and labeling parts for stocking.
- Picking and packing parts for outbound shipments with accuracy.
- Cycle counting inventory, identifying variances, and discrepancies.
- Document discrepancies from periodic audits.
- Assist identifying and resolving warehouse issues and problems. Assist with implementing corrective activities.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management system (WMS).
- Assist with the training of warehouse staff including new hires and cross trainees.
- Must have previous warehouse experience plus 2 years of experience.
- Forklift certified 1 plus year of experience.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must know and comply with the Komatsu Worldwide Code of Business Conduct, KAC Code of Conduct, Hensley Environmental Policies, Hensley Safety Policies, and Hensley Quality Policies.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
- Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division required.
- RF scanner experience, computer skills, and attention to detail 1 plus year of experience.
- Proficiency and experience in inventory software, databases and systems 1 plus year of experience.
- Previously forklift certified.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- High School Diploma minimum
- 6 months weld quality inspection experience in metal fabrication production.
- Experience applying welding standards to a fabrication.
- Experience using and reading measurement tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Power Point.
- Good communication skills and multi- tasking.
Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
