Overview
We are seeking a energetic, skilled, creative and experienced Executive Chef to lead a 3 different concept restaurant group culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves overseeing all kitchen operations, menu planning, food safety, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service across our restaurant and catering services. The Executive Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reputation of our establishment as a premier destination for fine dining and special events.
Duties
- Lead and manage the entire kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Develop innovative menus that align with restaurant branding, customer preferences, and dietary requirements
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served
- Manage inventory control, food ordering, and cost control measures to optimize food production efficiency
- Supervise food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and client specifications
- Oversee shift management, scheduling staff rotations to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness to uphold safety standards
- Train and mentor culinary staff to enhance skills, promote professional development, and maintain high standards of culinary excellence
Requirements
- Proven experience in Casual dining, banquet, or catering environments with strong leadership skills in team management and supervising staff
- Extensive background in culinary arts, including food production, menu planning, food handling, and kitchen management
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, food safety, and food service management within the food industry
- Prior experience with restaurant management, including shift oversight and operational coordination
- Strong knowledge of dietary department procedures, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards
- Excellent skills in cooking, food preparation, culinary innovation, and maintaining high-quality standards
- Ability to lead by example with strong communication skills, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality excellence
- Experience with inventory control systems and managing food costs effectively
