Contract Software Engineer for Series of Innovative Apps

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Software Engineer to contribute to the development of a series of innovative applications. Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions across multiple platforms using languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python, and VBA.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and web services utilizing frameworks like Ruby on Rails, React, Express, and .NET.
• Implement front-end features with JavaScript, React, and front-end development best practices.
• Manage and deploy applications on cloud platforms including AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git.
• Develop and maintain database systems using MySQL, SQL Server, and other SQL-based technologies.
• Integrate IT infrastructure components with application development processes, including Linux environments and RBAC security measures.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and continuous integration.
• Apply knowledge of quantum engineering principles where applicable to enhance application performance or security features.
• Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices in software engineering.

Experience

• Proven experience in software development with a strong portfolio of web applications or enterprise solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript frameworks (React), RESTful API design, and front-end/back-end integration.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and Azure for deployment and infrastructure management.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in version control systems including GitHub, SVN, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of database management using MySQL or other SQL databases.
• Strong understanding of application security principles like RBAC and API security standards.
• Experience with Linux-based systems for deployment or development is preferred.
• Additional skills in Java, C#, C++, Python, VBA, .NET frameworks, or quantum engineering are considered advantageous for this role. Pay: $2, $10,000.00 per day
