Propane Delivery Driver

The company's energy division is seeking candidates for a propane fuel driver to safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers. Candidates should be flexible and detail oriented with a great attitude while ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to): safely operating all aspects of a propane truck to safely deliver propane to residential, commercial and industrial customers; perform safety checks on company and customer equipment through visual examination before dispensing product; responding to and following out-of-gas procedures; and maintaining a safe and clean working environment and equipment while adhering to OSHA, state and federal safety regulations, this is a fulltime hourly union position. This position reports to the company's Energy Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Be able to operate all energy department equipment (including bulk fuel truck) as needed.

• Possess a valid class A or B commercial driver license (CDL).
• Must pass DOT physical, background check and pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employmen
• Ability to follow directions verbally, written and on maps
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Possess CDL tanker and hazardous materials endorsements (required if hired)
• Previous experience operating commercial vehicles with a DOT-regulated employer, preferably a propane bobtail truck or other petroleum delivery vehicle.

WAGE/BENEFITS

This position comes with a competitive hourly rate based on background and experience. Opportunities to earn performance based bonus is also offered.
