Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the kitchen during busy service periods.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks such as bussing tables, cooking, and serving when needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
