Pediatric Behavioral Therapist (LMSW)
Part-Time Position – Growth Opportunity to Full-Time
Location: Achievement Pediatric Therapies – Hartselle, AL
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm (8 hrs/week to start; expansion available if desired)

Achievement Pediatric Therapies is a dedicated outpatient pediatric clinic providing occupational, speech, and behavioral therapy services to children and their families. Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and caring Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our growing Behavioral Health team. This role focuses on supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other behavioral or developmental needs. The ideal candidate values relationship-building with families and thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This position has strong potential to expand into a full-time role as caseload grows.
Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral therapy services utilizing play-based, family-centered, and evidence-based approaches
- Conduct assessments and assist with treatment planning under appropriate supervision
- Collaborate with parents to provide training, support, and carry-over strategies for home and community settings
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with company and payer requirements
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with OT and SLP providers
- Uphold professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work with LMSW licensure in Alabama
- Experience working with children and/or autism spectrum disorder preferred
- Strong communication and family-coaching skills
- Ability to create a supportive and structured environment for clients
- Willingness to work evening hours as scheduled
- Interest in growing caseload and transitioning into a larger role within the clinic

Additional Notes About Ideal Fit:
This role is a long-term clinical position focused on direct pediatric behavioral therapy. We are seeking a candidate who is committed to providing sustained care within our setting and is not planning a rapid transition into a different clinical area after gaining additional credentials or experience. We welcome professional growth and development; however, we are looking for someone who intends to continue practicing within pediatric outpatient services as their primary career path.
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 20.0 per week
Work Location: In person
