We are seeking a highly competent individual who excels in both technical proficiency and professional communication. This role is critical to the success of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems. We don't just hire employees; we invest in long-term team members who are committed to quality and safety. We offer a supportive environment where your skills are valued, and your career growth is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
- System Installation: service, troubleshoot, and commission various commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems according to project specifications, blueprints, and local codes.

- Quality & Safety: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, industry best practices, and company quality standards. Complete all work to the highest level of craftsmanship.
- Technical Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely records of work performed, including diagnostic findings, parts used, and hours worked.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of commercial HVAC systems and their complex interdependencies within an MEP environment:
- Certifications: EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required. Relevant HVAC trade school diploma or equivalent apprenticeship is highly desired.
- Core Competencies: Proven expertise in electrical schematics, refrigeration cycle analysis, and control wiring.
- Troubleshooting: Advanced ability to diagnose and resolve issues involving control systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and refrigeration systems.
- Tool Proficiency: Proficient use of specialized HVAC tools, testing equipment (e.g., manifold gauges, multimeters, psychrometers), and safety gear.
Communication Skills (The 'Why' and 'Who')
Effective communication is paramount for project success and client satisfaction:
- Internal Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with project managers, electricians, plumbers, and general contractors. Must be able to clearly articulate technical findings, progress updates, and resource needs to team members.
- Client & Stakeholder Interaction: Interact with clients, property managers, and inspectors in a professional and courteous manner. Must be able to explain technical problems and solutions in plain language to non-technical audiences.
