Job Overview
The Total Wireless Store Manager oversees the daily operations, sales performance, and overall success of the retail location. The Manager ensures that all store functions, including staffing, merchandising, customer service, cleanliness, and compliance, are carried out in alignment with company standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to drive results while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Duties

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily store operations while actively participating in sales activities. This includes supervising, training, and motivating store associates to achieve sales and customer service goals, as well as maintaining a positive, team-oriented work environment. The Store Manager leads by example by engaging directly with customers, promoting wireless plans, devices, and accessories, and ensuring that each sales interaction reflects the company's commitment to quality and professionalism.

In addition to sales, the Store Manager ensures that the store remains clean, organized, and visually appealing, with accurate promotional displays and pricing. Responsibilities include managing employee schedules, monitoring attendance, enforcing uniform and policy compliance, and ensuring proper cash handling, register balancing, and daily deposits. The Store Manager also oversees inventory control, verifies deliveries, and ensures that demo devices are functional and properly displayed.

The position requires regular communication with the District Manager through daily sales reports, inventory updates, and staff performance feedback. The Store Manager must handle escalated customer issues promptly and professionally, ensure all team members adhere to company standards, and support corporate initiatives such as marketing campaigns, local promotions, and community outreach. Finally, the Store Manager is expected to uphold ethical sales practices, maintain data security, follow safety standards, and foster a respectful, results-driven workplace culture.

Customer Experience

  • Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues quickly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide in-store support for warranty claims, returns, and service-related questions.

Reporting & Communication

  • Submit daily sales reports, inventory updates, and staffing summaries to the District Manager.
  • Participate in weekly meetings, promotional calls, and corporate training sessions.
  • Share updates on promotions, pricing, and system changes with the team.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all sales activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with company policies and wireless carrier regulations.
  • Maintain a secure store environment, protecting customer information and company property.
  • Follow all safety and security protocols, especially when handling cash or managing customer data.

Performance Expectations

  • Achieve or exceed store sales targets and operational objectives.
  • Maintain strong team morale, ensuring accountability and performance excellence.
  • Ensure the store meets corporate standards for cleanliness, merchandising, and presentation.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to the District Manager.
  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with customers and staff.
  • Lead by example with integrity, punctuality, and professionalism.

Work Schedule and Reporting

Store Managers are expected to adjust schedules as needed to support business operations, special promotions, or training sessions. The Store Manager reports directly to the District Manager and may supervise up to 3 associates.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail or wireless store management experience required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems, Vidapay, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop sales associates effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to provide accurate customer quotations and handle escalations.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
