Job Overview

Interstate Logistics is seeking a dedicated and reliable Owner Operator with a 16 foot box truck to join our growing team for a dedicated tire delivery route. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting tires safely and efficiently across designated routes on a consistent Monday - Friday schedule. This position requires professionalism, a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, professional appearance and the ability to manage logistics effectively.

Duties

• Drive assigned routes (typically 250 miles per day) to deliver tires in a timely manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload tires safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• MUST own your own 16 foot box truck.
• MUST have commercial auto insurance.
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
• Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $250.00 per day
