About the role: Reporting to the Director, Processing Improvement, the Manager, Processing Maintenance is accountable for driving asset maintenance strategy, process standardization, technology adoption, and governance across all coal operations to enhance the performance and profitability of processing assets To be successful, we are looking for someone with demonstrated ability to lead cultural and organizational change, supported by strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as well-developed problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Join us in the breathtaking Elk Valley of British Columbia.   • In this role you will:
  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
  • Lead projects to optimize asset maintenance strategies, create compliance with industry standards and develop sustainment plans to support performance and profitability of assets
  • Establish and maintain standardized performance indicators and dashboards across all operations, enabling consistency, comparability, and alignment with strategic objectives. Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across sites to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead change management, communications, and cultural initiatives that foster engagement, safety, and adoption of maintenance improvements across sites
  • Champion the development and implementation of information and automation technologies, ensuring integration of SAP, analytics, and monitoring systems to improve maintenance planning, execution, and process efficiency
  • Establish and oversee governance processes aligned with the Asset Management Framework (AMF), including decision-making structures, policies, and oversight mechanisms
  • Define skill requirements, and partner with sites to deliver training, mentoring to build workforce capability and sustain long-term performance
  • Additional duties as assigned or required
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in process maintenance roles within the mining industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical specialization preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and maintenance experience may be considered
  • Proven project management experience with a track record of delivering sustainable improvement initiatives requiring both technical and leadership skills
  • Strong expertise in asset management, automation technologies, performance management systems and governance framework
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to align site teams, focus groups, and central functions to drive knowledge sharing and capability development
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and balance strategic priorities with operational demands
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
  • The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity
