Consequently, we are looking for a full-time Welder who would like to join our team. This position requires shift work on days, afternoons, and potential availability on midnights.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete welding process by welding/tacking plate and structural steel
• Straighten fabrications (press/heat)
• Learn and perform basic fitting tasks
• Operate material handling equipment (lift truck or overhead crane)
• Maintaining clean work area and helping in other areas as needed

Qualifications

• Must have prior MIG welding experience
• Excellent blueprint reading skills required
• CWB tickets and weld symbol knowledge are an asset
• Overhead crane and rigging experience required
• Possess technical knowledge of welding procedures/materials/equipment
• Must be detail oriented and safety conscious
• Saw and hand torch experience required
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes required
