Cleaning Technician/Porter

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings. This role involves performing cleaning tasks in commercial environments, ensuring that all areas are spotless and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
• Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, and windows.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to company policies regarding cleanliness standards and procedures.
• Address client concerns professionally and provide excellent service.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina; ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights(50lbs).
• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours
• Communication skills- ability to interact with clients and team members professionally
• Must be available for evenings/night shifts (Monday–Friday).
• Must be available for weekends.
• Driver's license required- with good history.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures is a plus.
• Must own a vehicle for transportation to job sites
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
