Job description
Participation Lodge Grey-Bruce is a not-for-profit organization that strives to
empower and enrich the lives of the individuals we support. Our dedicated team is
committed to helping individuals with complex needs achieve a true "quality of
life" which goes well beyond the basic needs of personal care. Clients are seen as
individuals, each with their own physical and emotional needs. We have an
amazing group of staff providing support for our clients and their choices,
throughout our various programs and locations across the Grey-Bruce region. Our
main physical site in Holland Centre is currently seeking a Personal Support
Worker to join our dedicated team
Participation Lodge is home to 23 individuals.. Our small size and focus on
individualized support allows for more flexibility and a balanced work environment
compared to large care facilities or hospitals. For more information about us and

Job Description:
- Provide a wide range of support for individuals following Individualized Support Plans (ISP)
- Assist with day-to-day needs
- Collaborate with other services to provide dynamic and individualized community supports
- Support physical and communication developments, or other goals set by the individuals

Qualifications:
- Completion of relevant college-level PSW training.
- Professional or personal experience working with individuals who have complex needs is preferred
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention certified, or willingness to complete inhouse training
- A G licence and clean driver's abstract to be added to company insurance, if use of our vehicles is required
Please note, successful applicants will be required to provide an up-to-date
criminal background check, including a vulnerable sector screen, as well as a
comprehensive Health Screen - including a TB test.
