U.S.VETS—the nation's largest nonprofit dedicated to ending veteran homelessness—is hiring an Operations Manager to oversee site operations, ensure compliance, and lead initiatives that strengthen our programs and services.

As an Operations Manager, you will:

• Serve as a key member of the site leadership team, partnering with the Executive Director and national Operations team to drive organizational success.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, federal regulations and funder requirements.
• Lead strategic planning for programs and services, aligning operational goals with community needs.
• Manage fiscal compliance, budgeting, and grant performance to maintain financial integrity and sustainability.
• Supervise and support site managers and coordinators, fostering collaboration and accountability across departments.
• Oversee audits, reporting, and data quality to ensure transparency and accuracy.
• Partner with HR on recruitment, training, and staff development to build a strong, mission-driven team.
• Coordinate with national leadership on IT, facilities, and risk management to maintain operational excellence.

• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of operations management experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, compliance, and grants management.
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience managing grants and finances in a nonprofit organization.
