Cook/Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high cleanliness standards.
• Assist in the dietary department by supporting food preparation tasks when needed.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Uphold the standards of fine dining service by ensuring that dining areas are clean and presentable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food industry practices, including dietary aide responsibilities or catering experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning products.
• Ability to handle kitchen tools safely, including knives for food preparation tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
