As an Inside Sales and Customer Service representative, you will engage with customers to facilitate a seamless sales process, from initial contact to order dispatch. Your role will require you to exhibit exemplary service and professionalism through interactions on the web store, via email, phone calls, and video conferencing platforms like Zoom. Additionally, you will assist with quoting, lead development, and identifying opportunities to introduce customers to further product offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a college degree and 3-5 years of experience in customer service and sales. Strong communication skills, the ability to follow through, multitasking capabilities, and the capacity to work independently are essential.

 Responsibilities:

- Maintain thorough product knowledge to address customer inquiries.

- Handle quoting, order entry, and order follow-up.

- Coordinate shipping schedules and address service issues in collaboration with manufacturing.

- Collaborate with accounting to establish credit terms.

- Utilize strong oral and written communication when engaging with customers.

- Operate within JDE and HubSpot systems.

- Partner with IT to implement and test new processes.

- Prepare and distribute sales and financial reports as required (daily, weekly, etc.).

- Participate in limited travel as needed.

- Conduct cold calling activities.

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- 3-5 years of experience in customer service and/or sales.

- Demonstrated exceptional customer service abilities.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Capable of building strong rapport with customers.

- Proven problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to engage in all aspects of Geospace sales.

- Open to coaching and feedback.

- Flexibility to work both onsite and remotely.

- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Project management experience is a plus.

- Strong logistical and analytical thinking skills.

- Basic understanding of geophone principles, including frequency, sensitivity, coil resistance, and distinctions between high and low-frequency applications.

- Knowledge of the differences between analog and passive sensors used in seismic versus industrial applications.
