Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Host to welcome guests and create a warm, inviting atmosphere in our restaurant. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and passionate about delivering excellent guest experiences. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort.
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate booking records.
• Answer phone inquiries politely, providing information about the restaurant's services and reservation options.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service transitions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to uphold a welcoming environment.
• Handle guest concerns or special requests with professionalism, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
• Support team members during busy periods by assisting with guest inquiries and managing waitlists.

Skills

• Prior experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear interaction with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience in hotel or guest services can be beneficial for understanding guest expectations.
• Ability to remain calm and friendly under pressure during busy service hours.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently.
