Southampton - PT Mon & Thurs 10a-1p, 6hr/wk, personal care, home care, mobility assistance
Location: Southampton, MA
Hours: Mondays & Thursdays 10a-1p
Can take on other clients to achieve desired weekly hours.
Mr. E in Southampton needs your help He is looking for a caregiver to help him in his home twice per week with mobility around the house (standby assist), as well as meal prep, light housekeeping, toileting, and dressing. Please consider helping this gentleman

Our elderly clients need help around their homes with personal care, palliative care, respite care, meal preparation and feeding, mobility assistance and transfers, light housekeeping duties, transportation to and from appointments, and companionship. Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
- (For some clients) Provide transportation for clients to and from appointments, errands, etc.
- 1+ years of experience in direct care
- Punctuality, reliability, compassion, patience, empathy
- Strong ability to read, write, understand, and speak English so as to:
- Read ADL's
- Communicate verbally with clients, families, co-workers, and administrative staff
- Vehicle or transportation
- Ability to add Business Class 30 to car insurance (reimbursed up to $50)
- Valid MA Driver's License
- Pass a background check
- At least 2 professional references (not friends)
- Be willing to accept at least 1 e/o weekend shift
- HHA or CNA certification (not required, we work with applicants to get HCA certified)
