Personal Support Worker

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide essential care and assistance to clients in their homes or care facilities. You'll help individuals maintain their independence and quality of life through personalized support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide medication reminders and basic health monitoring
• Support mobility and transfers using proper techniques
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Document care activities and report changes in client condition

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Personal Support Worker certification preferred
• Previous caregiving experience an asset
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Background check and references required
