Participants will work closely with White Cap sales leaders in a 6-12 month program to develop the skills, customer and supplier relationships, and knowledge needed to be successful in outside sales./ppAn Account Manager
Accelerated Sales Program /pullipParticipates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn the White Caps business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills./p/lilipPrepares and executes account plans./p/lilipSells White Cap value proposition and products./p/lilipLearns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers./p/lilipEnters and processes customer orders./p/lilipPerforms other duties as assigned./p/lilipThis position requires operation of a company vehicle or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 80% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report./p/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pullipBachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience/p/lilipStrong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members/p/lilipRequires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence./p/lilipCompetitive nature with a drive to succeed/p/lilipGoal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics/p/lilipOpen to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance/p/lilipDemonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities/p/lilipSpanish language proficiency/p/li/ulpIf youre looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.
