If that sounds like you, you can win at Wilsonart./ph3Overview/h3pWilsonart Engineered Surfaces, a leading supplier of Decorative Surfacing Materials, Cabinet Hardware and Building Supplies is seeking an experienced Sales Representative for our Kansas region. The ideal candidate has established experience selling products to the cabinet, millwork and building industry. The ideal candidate knows the territory./ppThis Sales Representative is responsible for promoting, sell and market Wilsonart and Non-Wilsonart products and programs to a variety of buying and non-buying decision-makers including customers sold by the Metro, OEM accounts, home-builders, kitchen dealers, millwork and corporate specifiers. Assists Specification Representatives in securing specifications from the professional design community by developing relationships within this community. Seek potential new customers and service all buying and non-buying accounts. Performs other tasks as required./ppTerritory: State of Kansas/ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliEffectively manage time and resources to ensure personal and team sales targets are met./liliForecast sales and develop sales strategies and models./liliCreate demand with Fabricators, Cabinet, Millwork, Kitchen
Bath accounts, General Contractors and Builders, both single and multi-family within a designated territory./liliIdentify and develop accounts (Target/New) and opportunities to generate sales growth./liliDevelop and maintain strong relationships with logistics and operations teams that allows for clear communications and productive engagements. Act as liaison between corporate initiatives and the field to ensure best practices./liliDocument activities in the CRM (Salesforce) to ensure best practices are recognized and employed regularly and to capture sales./liliMaintain knowledge of complete product lines./liliKeep abreast of the latest industry developments by attending sales meetings, industry events, training sessions and individual research./liliTravel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers, some overnight travel./liliConduct calls and face to face meetings with customers daily./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:/pulliTrack record of over-achieving sales quotas/liliExperience working with a CRM and pipeline management/liliFamiliarity with different sales techniques/liliComputer use proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)/liliKnowledge of the decorative surfaces industry/liliExperience with sales and marketing principles, material handling, specification sales
channel sales/liliKnowledge of industry standards applicable to the product and other pertinent rules/regulations governing material standards/liliStrong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills/liliAbility to manage multiple priorities/liliAbility to travel/li/ulpMinimum Requirements:/ppEducation: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing or a closely related field. Applicable experience may be substituted for educational requirements./ppExperience: 3+ years of proven field sales experience. Experience selling within the design or building products industry is a plus./p/div
