Your responsibilities will span from receiving and stocking inventory to picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. This position is key to our logistics chain, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. You will work collaboratively with a team to meet daily targets and maintain a high standard of operational excellence. Safety is paramount; you will be expected to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role involves frequent lifting and movement, demanding good physical stamina. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
- Ability to perform regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking may be required.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
