Advance your career in logistics as a Material Handler in our Indianapolis, Indiana facility. We are looking for individuals proficient in moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe flow of materials throughout the warehouse, supporting receiving, storage, and shipping operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment proficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Stack and arrange materials securely and efficiently, maintaining clear pathways.
- Perform regular inspections of material handling equipment and report any defects.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering strictly to Safety regulations.
- Ensure proper use of all designated PPE.
- Support other warehouse activities as needed to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certified forklift operator preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting (up to 55 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of material handling equipment operation.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a demanding logistics environment.
- Commitment to wearing and utilizing all required PPE.
