We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Austin, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, stack, load, and unload materials within our facility. Your duties will include transporting goods from receiving to storage, moving products to staging areas for shipping, and assisting with inventory management. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and you must demonstrate proficiency in safe forklift operation, adhering to all company policies and procedures. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times. This role requires focus, precision, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Experience with various types of forklifts and attachments is a plus. You will be expected to perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. While operating the forklift, occasional Lifting of lighter items may be necessary. You will work collaboratively with other warehouse associates to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods. Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to a safe work environment are essential qualities. - Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and load/unload materials.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report issues.
- Transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking and fulfillment processes as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient logistics operations.
