Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Pick items accurately from inventory based on orders.
- Pack and prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper packaging.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and verification.
- Move materials to and from production or shipping areas.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all materials.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Participate in warehouse safety training and team meetings.
- Support the logistics team in daily operations.
- Contribute to efficient workflow and productivity.
- Follow instructions from supervisors accurately.
- Perform other material handling tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety guidelines.
- Capability of lifting and moving items up to 40 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is beneficial.
