Experience with forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus, but not always required as training may be available. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to meet daily operational goals. Understanding of basic logistics is helpful, and a willingness to learn is essential. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload shipments from trucks.
- Receive, sort, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE diligently.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Follow instructions from supervisors accurately.
- Contribute to team efforts and meet performance targets.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
- Participate in warehouse safety training.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage.
- Process returns and restock merchandise.
- Support the logistics team in daily operations.
- Communicate any issues or concerns promptly.
- Contribute to a positive and productive workplace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Team-oriented and able to follow directions.
- Basic knowledge of logistics is a plus.
