We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Order Picker will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring that our clients receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing handheld scanners and other equipment to locate, pick, and stage items. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity for growth within our organization. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a handheld scanner or pick list.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves and storage areas.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and safely for shipment.
- Stage picked orders in designated shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor immediately.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Basic math skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and scanning technology.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics setting.
